Today, Mom and I went to out with my Grandma, Aunt Gwen and Cousins Natalie, Mary and Leah for the afternoon. We all met up in Barrhaven and then drove together to Manotick where they were having their annual "Dickinson Day" in honour of the towns founder Moss Kent Dickinson. They had the main street in town closed down and all the little shops had displayed their wares all along the street. We stopped for lunch at a nice cafe nearby. On our way home Mom and I stopped at Bayshore to do some shopping.
While we were gone my dear brother Scott finished weeding our large vegetable garden. He has been working very hard the last couple of weeks doing that for us. Thank-you Scott! There was alot more weeds then normal this year 'cause last year we didn't end up doing a garden. It's great to be doing it again! There will be pictures hopefully in the next few weeks...Also while we were gone Dad and Shawn cleaned all the windows around the house and powerwashed all the screens! Thank-you Dad and Shawn! It's amazing what can get done when you leave the house for the afternoon....
