Hello

It has been almost a month since I posted here, my little home on the web.

My days have been filled with working full time (and overtime) most weeks. Needless to say I have not had alot of free time! I have also had the joy of helping my cousin Natalie, her finance Nate and family prepare for their wedding day on December 30th. Busy days indeed. In the coming days I will be posting about her wedding shower.

Tomorrow Mom and I head off to Guelph for the weekend to attend her Bachelorette party.... should be a blast!

Scotty came home tonight from school for the Christmas break... it is great having the whole family back together again. I feel like Christmas has now begun :D

I am looking forward to sharing lots of pictures with you in the New Year. 'till then enjoy this season with your family and friends and always remember.... He is the reason for the season.

Peace,
-Erin

The Granary

My little blog has been quiet the past few weeks - - - - I guess no internet at home and working lots of hours can do that!

I have been working alot the past few weeks - starting this week I will be working full time most weeks. I am looking forward to the experiences that will be in store (no pun intended).

Have any of you checked out The Granary website? Go take a look!

Here is an old picture of the store taken in the mid 50's back when it was a grocery store!

Visiting Scott and "The Help"

Last weekend, Mom, Dad, Shawn and I went into Ottawa to see Scott at school. We spent a few hours together going for a nice walk along the Ottawa River.
On our way to the park

Mom and Dad wondering if they can afford to send me to "Le Cordon Bleu . . . It's a VERY expensive cooking school.

The Guys

After we visited with Scott, we went to see "The Help" at the Kanata ACM. Excellent film. I'm going to read the book this week.

Fall is Coming . . .

The leaves are starting to change color, people have gone back to school and returned to their daily routines. My days have been filled with work, taking care of my 14 laying hens and spending time with my family, friends and wonderful cousins. Fall is my favorite time of year . . I love seeing how much the trees have changed as I drive to and from work. Life is good. I feel blessed.
Today Mom, Aunt Gwen, Natalie, Leah and I went to Westport to do some sightseeing and shopping. It was their first time in Westport. On our way there we stopped at Brown's Shoe Outlet outside of Perth. Between the four of us we bought 10 pairs of shoes . . . Mom didn't buy any.... Waiting to get our lunch

Scott went back to OttawaU this year. He is taking Viola Performance. He made the switch over from violin this summer and is really enjoying the change. He is living in the same place as last year. Miss him already.

My cuz Natalie and her fiance Nate (and cousin Leah!) came over for dinner last Saturday. He was visiting from Virginia to work on wedding plans and to see his beloved Nat. And to vist his awesome cousins to be!
