Scott had his violin jury this morning at school. It went well. Thank you everyone for your prayers over the past few weeks. We are all excited to have Scott coming home tonight.
This morning I was working for a lady in Almonte weeding her flower gardens. I have been helping her for the past 3 years. After working there all morning I was inspired to go to the garden center to get some mulch and a few flowers to put in our little flower bed near our chicken coop. I'm looking forward to getting it all put together. When Scott gets home from school this week we are going to start working on the vegetable garden. How nice it is to see the sun shining!
My last piano recital was on Saturday May 8th. My teacher Emily and I played a duet together for one of my pieces "Chariots of Fire theme for 4 hands". I also played "Twilight" by F. Caton (1901-1966).
On April 30th, our Youth Group went to the Hike for Life in Ottawa. On the walk you can walk 10 or 5k. We all walked the 5k. The clown was extra... we did not bring him along... never been a clown person, I had to work through this one. Someone in the group (who shall remain nameless) found out I don't like clowns and constantly sent him my way. I love this picture, it's so bright and cheery.
We had a nice family day yesterday... We went to my Uncle's church in the morning for the worship service. We had a quiet afternoon at home. In the evening we went over to Nana and Papa's house for a lovely Easter dinner. Thanks so much! Uncle Robin, Aunt Gwen, Mary and Leah were able to come for dinner. We had a great time together. It was nice that Scott was able to come home for the weekend... Shawn is driving him back to Ottawa this afternoon. His jury has been changed (again) to May 4th. Prayers would be appreciated.
