Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

I remember when you were almost three years old.(You looked like this little girl except for your brown curls). You loved flowers and still love flowers. I don't know how many "flower theme" birthdays you have had over the years. Well the spring before your third birthday when we still lived in the city you had been out playing with your brothers. You rang the doorbell and behind your back you had some lovely daffodils and tulips for me from Mr. W's front garden next door. You said you didn't think he would mind...in your baby girl talk. After all he had lots! Love, Mom
